Well this story is a continuation of our trip from Kuching, Sarawak ( you can read the Kuching story here... http://cooperscandals.blogspot.my/2016/02/kuching-revisited-january-2016.html ) to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. So our Day 1 in Kota Kinabalu actually was our 5th day of the trip.
Day 1 (Day 5 of the trip)
We arrived at KKIA (Kota Kinabalu International Airport) around 1535 hrs and straight to the rent-a-car outlet since my friend had already booked a car for us. From there we went straight to the city centre to check-in. I didn't book any hotel here in KK because I still can't make my decision where to stay. I need to find a hotel which Mrs Cooper can find her own way when I'm going for my work. At least she won't be starved in the room. Hehehe.. At last we check-in at Tang Dinasty Hotel. I knew Mrs Cooper won't be happy with this hotel but I need to stay at a hotel where both of us have all the conveniences. Honestly, I also don't like staying here. Had a bad experience before. The hotel carpet is stink and makes you breathless. I nearly got an asthmatic attack when I stayed here previously. Anyway I just checked in for a night only because I'm sure Mrs Cooper will force me to change hotel. But if she didn't, I will. hihi..

After checking in, we go straight to one of our favorite spot ie Jesselton Point to had our lunch. We were both so hungry. Again, we dropped at the Nasi Padang restaurant.

Dinner, of coz seafood. Mrs Cooper really loves seafood. So, we went to the seafood stall at Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen....

Day 2:
I had to attend a meeting this morning. After the meeting, I rush back to the hotel to check out. We then check in at Promenade Hotel. Mrs Cooper was happy with the room. Thank God.
Settled on the room, we went to Suria Sabah for lunch and back to the hotel to retire. In the evening, Mrs Cooper wants to watch sun set. So, we went to the Anjung Senja..
After sun set, its dinner time. We went back to our favorite spot ie Jesselton Point to have our dinner. The scenery after sun set at the pier was spectacular....
We had prawns, sayur manis and grilled sea bass..
Day 3:
Today I have to go to Papar for a site visit. So, went to the cafe for a quick breakfast.

While I'm with my field project, Mrs Cooper went for her window shopping at the mall in front of the hotel. The Oceanus Mall had a beautiful view at the other side. U can see it from Mrs Cooper's pics...
In the evening I had a dinner with my boss, colleagues and a few guest. I have to leave Mrs Cooper at the hotel. Pity her coz she haven't had her dinner yet. I should have brought her to dinner first before going for mine.
My dinner was at the Restaurant Kampung Nelayan. Not sure about the area but it still in KK. About 30 minutes from our hotel. The restaurant serves seafood delicacies. And it got traditional local shows i.e. traditional local dance shows.
Day 4
Woke early and watch a sun rise from the window. The view was quite spectacular although it was the apartment building that covers nearly the whole view.
We checked out around 1000hs from the hotel and go straight to the airport. Checked in the luggage and we had lunch and rest at the Plaza Premium Lounge
At 1440hs, we board our plane and headed home. Looking forward for another trip.
